Give me beer or give me death! Clearly their rallying cry.
I didn't read all the comments but I only saw one supporting the loss of the beer license. Of course the person must have been drunk or high as they posted the same comment over and over.
If the store is on the county right of way I would be willing to bet that a lot of the other buildings around it are too. I wonder how many of the residents park their cars and trucks on county property.
whats good for the goose is good for the gander.
I can't see how stopping them selling beer is going to make the place any less noisy if they don't bar juke boxes and live bands.
I bet someone just wants to close it down so they can get the land cheap and put up a 7/11 or McDonalds.
tokio store is literly out in the middle of bum fuck texas..it's about 10 miles from west..drive down my street..cross I-35 and go straight down tokio road for 9 miles or so and you will almost drive right up to the front door..there is a huge road it front of it..which is gravel and you can't tell the parking lot from the road..it's all caliche and large gravel..all the homes are right off of it too...so your right nitty...the people that are bitching bout the bar being on county land are probably on it too.
i'll have to mention it to charlie.
welcome back rainy..you ok?
BYOB/coolers works just as well for people. I didn't notice it in their blog post, but is that allowed?
We've got quite a few places like that around here. It actually saves people money.
This is like the people that buy or build a place in the country and then complain about the noise, smells, and dust from the neighboring farms!!
blue:yeah, that's what they have been doing,byob..
kulkuri:what made me laugh was complaining about the drunks peeing outside or other things..what were they doing up that late looking out there windows for in the first place?
I hope they get to keep on drinking. I always wondered about the type of people that move next to something they know will bother them. People near the airport where I work at complain about the airplane noise...WTF were they thinking when they bought a house near the airport?
This is why I live in the forest. The only noise I have to put up with is from me, since I'm the loudest thing out here.
I say "Party on Wayne. Party on Garth."
