PALIN'S NEW CAMPAIGN SONG

I stole this from Mudflats.wordpress.com
I laughed so hard I had a coughing fit and spit up my spleen.

one of Juneau’s favorite singers, Vicki Van Fleet, belted the following, sung to the tune of Janis Joplin’s Mercedes Benz (lyrics by Sally O of Homer, Alaska):
Oh Lord won’t you make me the Vice President

McCain’s just too soft on the environment
Being mayor of Wasilla was really quite hard
Now I’m Commander–in-Chief of the National Guard
Oh Lord I’m awaiting a heavenly sign
that with my lack of credentials the VP spot is mine!
Forgive my blind ambition and the lies that I have tossed
I must get to DC no matter the cost!!!!
Oh Lord won’t you give me a PR campaign
I’m cuter and younger than old John McCain
My sister’s ex-husband is my only stain
I’m no Tina Fey but I do gotta brain
Oh Lord won’t you make me the Vice President
McCain’s just too soft on the environment
Being mayor of Wasilla was my playing card
and being Vice President can’t be all that hard
Oh Lord won’t you make me the vice-presi – dent!

But Tina has a higher calling. She's always been one of the best ever on SNL Well, not counting the class of 75 but their secret weapon was coke.
I don't know what Janis would think of Palin but I'm sure it would be colorful.

Natasha, don't know if you're a real person or not but when you left a comment on my blog it smelled like spam -- and it's smelling even more like spam now that I'm seeing it over here at Yellowdog Granny with identical wording.

Interesting song and I love Janis's music. She could sweat the blues.

Wow do great minds think alike or what?
I just put up a video about Sarah Palin and her religious believes.
(Bummer, this sounds like a spam comment.)

Like I said, McCain better watch his back, should they get in. I almost feel sorry for old McInsane. He has no control over his campaign. Rove is in command, and the crowds are fired up because of Palin. Not him. We're going to have another Cheney at the helm if they get in, only this time 500 times worse.

And she could add, sung to the tune of Die Horst Wessel (spelling?)
"Kill the wolfies, kill the moosies, Kill the Caribou--ooo
Rape the land and screw the wildlife and any native people too"
It's a terrible thing when the first woman to run for one of the highest offices in many a year has to be a super duper uber fundie creep from hell.
