SHE WAKES....LOOKS AROUND..MUTTERS FUCKIT AND GOES BACK TO SLEEP

I have been moping around the house, not exactly feeling sorry for myself, as that is not my nature...but kinda sorta having deeper thoughts about deeper subjects than I normally have...Hmmm...what it is is....another friend died...Jerry F. was 3 years older than me..which is the only good thing about her death, as most of the friends I have lost over the past 3-6 months have been younger than me and I'm starting to freak out.I am looking over my shoulder to see if the grim reaper is lurking in the shadows flipping thru his book of 'Nexts' and moving my name up. It is enough to make me think about really getting serious about doing something about my health....eat better, eat less, excercise..cut out sweets, fats, salt, Dr.Pepper, Blue Bell, and all things fried..................
But then again....I like living dangerously...I have cut out smokes, drugs, booze and sex...and made it to 62 1/2....so if I cut out all the only things I have left that gives me any joy, will it be worth it to live a few years longer......????????
Fuck no....so 'scuuuze me while I go pry the top off a Dublin Dr. Pepper, pour it over a huge bowl of Blue Bell Home Made Vanilla ice cream....and enjoy the only thing I have left that makes life worth living...that and the fevernt hope that with the adding of Terrell Owens to the lineup of the Dallas Cowboys they may win another Super Bowl.
Fuckme till even the grim reaper wants no part of me..

Yep, I agree. Live it up why you can. Look at all the "bad" habits you gave up already and that has greatly increased your health.
I don't think I could go on living if all I was going to eat was damn alpha sprouts everyday.

The way I figure it the next study that comes out will find that all the things that the other studies said were bad for us and would bring on instant death were wrong due to faulty studies.
At least you can get Dublin Dr. Pepper and Blue Bell Ice creme. Not me. :(

I am sorry you lost another friend. We all need all the friends we can get.

Funny you should blog about this. Mr. Bruce and I were having this discussion that we sholud eat better and exercise more and then we went out for pizza and got some M & M's for later.

I work with the elderly (85 and up) sometimes, and believe me it's not a pretty sight. We made (Bruce & I) a suicide pact that he would shoot me then himself when we get up to those years.

With our luck he'll be to feeble to pull the damn trigger.

Sorry to hear about Jerry. . . I'm at that stage in life where friends and family are passing away too. . . It's hard some days.

A dear friend of mine has a t-shirt that puts it all in perspective. . . "Eat Right, Exercise, Die Anyway. . ." She's a rape victim, recovering alcoholic and breast cancer survivor. . . I made her promise to leave me that t-shirt in her will. . . She must be doing something right. . . LOL!!

Love Ya!!!!

HUGGSS!!

Sorry about your friend. It is tough to lose someone you have known a long time.

You know I figured out if I cut everything out that might make me sick I would die from boredom anyway. I just live life as it comes and don't worry about it anymore.

Hey.........finally found someone else who thinks Terrell Owens is worth something. Loved the man when he played for my team (49ers) and then watched him when he played for the Eagles. I think they really done him wrong. Now he is on my husband's team, so I will still be able to watch him play.

JS Carry on eating what you like ,if you have nothing in life to make you happy you may as well get the grim reaper to shoot you now :)

Eh I hear ya. There's nothing wrong with adapting to a healthier lifestyle, but do not completely give up what you enjoy.

I'd rather enjoy life, than be miserable.

Very sorry to hear of your friend. Be thinking of ya all!

Oh Honey! Dr. Pepper and Blue Bell are what you are all about! You couldn't give those up. I wouldn't worry about it so much. You'll go when it's your time, not based on whether or not you ate Blue Bell!

I think you got it. Lets face it, at our age it doesn't matter too much since the damage is pretty well already done. You can't propably increase years by changing your life style at this point of the game but you could possibly feel a little better by doing so. I don't want to brag but, I did my life style change when I hit my fortieth and trained myself to eat healthier foods. To my utter surprise, this is exactly the kind of food I desire now. We are like seals in a circus; easy to train.
