Remember the nice lady who is now my friend that gave me the 3 bookcases for free?...well, she send me this email and told her I would post it on my blog in case anyone from Waco area reads me and might be interested in donating or offering any help to her friend...I thought about it and decided to donate the Martin Guitar Book for the auction. It should raise a lot of money, as it's a jewel of a book for guitar players who love Martin guitars..Last I checked it was worth $400, so that should help. anyhow...If any of you silent readers are from the Waco area, drop by and listen to some good music and help a fellow musician...

Would you be a dear and post this on your website, purty please? Hugs, CJ

Yet another argument for universal health care. I really hope I manage to live long enough to see the day when a catastrophic accident or devastating illness doesn't require fund-raising by friends to pay medical bills.

Hope the auction raises a ton of money.

I wish you guys all of the luck in the world!

I'll look and see if I can find any guitar books that are in good shape in Big T's stuff. Sad thing, most of his stuff got wet during the move and is in ruins.

How very generous of you, Jackie Sue! I wish I had some musical stuff to donate, but I don't. :(

Isn't that the truth? Of course, even if we did have universal health care, I'm sure the insurance companies/the govt/and the lobbyists would find a way to screw it up!
