Jenny and Jason came over today and Jason and I were standing up watching the game and screaming at the TV. I love that guy. Jenny and I are going to House of Satan on Black Friday. They want a 32 inch TV for their Christmas present. I want a $200 lap top and a wireless router so I can sit in my chair and play on my computer. That is if Dexter will let me. Jenny showed me the new engagement pictures too. They are such a beautiful couple. I'll link them up here after I do the Monday Stumbles. Still football playing so I'm of

MORE RECYCLED POSTS

these are probably 2 of my favorite posts..cause they are about the little jackiesue who grew up to be me..Im sure Nitty and Tex and Billy will remember these...
you probably can't tell but in this picture the red headed kid (MIKE)on the left is pulling my hair and the tall kid(LARRY)is pinching me..Which explains the 'ouch' look on my face. If they had been able to have fast speed cameras back then you would have been able to see the 3 of us in a fist fight in the dirt. I won.
THE 3 TROUBLE MAKERS
In answer to all questions...Jimmy Crack Corn is not a song about farting..that was just what came out of a hot sweaty Texas night in Sunnyvale, Texas with the kids bored silly and mischief in their hearts. Bright Yellow Gun asked if all southern kids had to have two names and I said no....but most of us did...but like my cousins that were called only by their first name were also called by both their names when they were in trouble...so Terry became Terry Lee when he pushed my doll buggy into a tree, and he also became suddenly punched in the stomach by Jackiesue right after. While I was telling BYG this,it dawned on me..THAT may have been the reason that Michael Ray, Larry Wayne and Jackiesue were called by both of our names...because we were always in trouble...huh....and we were too...My grandmother used to whip them with those wire fly swatters...she would wail on Larry Wayne and Michael Ray...I on the other hand was never whipped....My mother would have jerked Big Mama a new ass if she or anyone tried to whip me....I was NOT to be whipped, no matter the offense..I was to be led by the arm to mother and she would dole out what ever punishment she deemed necessary, which was usually a stern talking to and a threat to tell Daddy..that would shape me up very fast..I would be good ....just don't tell Daddy...not that Daddy ever whipped me or yelled or even punished me...it was THE LOOK. The look of pain, hurt and disappointment. Man, I would do anything not to get THE LOOK.. He also had another look, one that if I was being a little jerk and he caught me in the act...would give me THAT LOOK ..and it would freeze the blood in your veins and stop your heart...My parents never whipped me..but I always knew that there was a distinct possibility that if I pushed them far enough..they wouldn't whip me but would kill me...so I never pushed the envelope.somethings you just know..Growing up for the longest time it was just the 3 of us...we were older than all the other cousins by 4-5 years....then came Michael Ray's baby sister.............DIANE... the cutest damn kid you ever saw....and we hated her....well, we loved her..you had to love her..she was so damn cute...but she stole all our action....we not only had to take her everywhere and keep an eye out on her, she got everything first..first drink of kool-aid, first candy, first dime for ice cream....oh God we hated her...but we did admire her ability to get the main amount of attention...so we thought of many many different ways to cause her as much harm as possible with out actually drawing blood. In my Aunt Estelle's house you could make a circle in the house...go from bedroom to bath room to bed room to kitchen to dining room to living room to bedroom....so we put her (as we called her) Di....Ann...(two words)in the middle of the bed in the first bedroom and then start running through all of the rooms and make it right back to the bed before she crawled to the edge of bed and fell off...some times...we didn't make it....and would catch her by her wet soggy diaper...giving her the thrill of her life...she thought that was so much fun...so did we...of course sometimes she hit the floor, but we would gather her up and hug and kiss on her and she would laugh and forgive us...not knowing it was us that caused her to be hurt in the first place....Aunt Leola was the one that caught on to our little game and put a stop to that fast..She was always the one that kept us from killing each other...not with yells, screams or panic...she never lost it...she would just say things like' you know you're going to kill that child don't you?'...and we would shuffle our feet, look at the sky, ground, each other and say "yes, mamm."..and she would say "quitit"....and we would say "yes, mamm".......I often wonder how we all made it with out someone getting hurt really bad, or our mothers going nuts and locking us up in a room till we were 30..like Michael Ray always said y'all ain't nothing but a bunch of A-holes.....

JIMMY CRACKED CORN...........
I was reading the blogs that I read everyday and stumbled across jdaris's blog on jumbled thoughts and one was about jimmy cracked corn and not caring..which reminded me of my cousins..Michael Ray and Larry Wayne and me (Jackisue)out on the porch at Mike's house one hot Texas summer...Summer time Daddy would bring me up from where ever we lived and all of us kids would just bounce from aunts house to grandma's to another aunts house...so we are sitting on the porch and its probably about 10pm at night and hotter than the inner ring of hell...we are all in our underwear..I had no boobies then and at that time in history...little girls running around with no t-shirt was a normal part of life..so we are playing war, or go fish, or old maid..some card game ..and it didn't matter what game we played we all cheated and tried to out best the other two...so we're sitting in the hot Texas night, playing cards and singing silly songs..and all of a sudden Michael Ray starts to sing Jimmy Cracked Corn....and I don't care..and we joined in and we're singing along and cheating and sweating and Michael Ray pops his ass in the air and lets one go, loud and stinky and sings in falsetto "Michael cracked corn and we don't care".....well, my God, you would have thought that was the funniest thing in the world..we fell out on the porch laughing and laughing. So then we go back to the card game and for a least an hour we sat there playing cards, sweating and farting while singing "Jackiesue Cracked corn"...leg up...fart..... laugh hysterically... Michael Ray cracked corn..lift leg..fart..laugh hysterically....Larry Wayne cracked corn...leg up...fart.....and we laughed all night long..Big Mama(our grandmother) finally came out and told us to quit that farting and singing which sent us into gales of laughter...I think that is one of the few times when two of us was not in the process of killing the other one. We just were three hot sweaty farting cousins....or as Michael Ray always called us....'just a buncha A_holes'..

RECLYED POST FROM 2005
one of my favorite posts..thought I'd recycle it and use spell check this time..
Jackiesue D_______ passed away yesterday evening while watching the Presidents speech about Iraq. "As well as we can figure she just went up in flames." said Freddy Gerik, local volunteer firefighter."I think they call it spontaneous combustion, but I'd never seen anything like it before. "Mrs. Maryruth Stroder was questioned by the police as she had called them to complain about the noise, cursing and furniture being tossed out of the house by Ms. D_______. "I have heard her yelling and screaming at the TV before when the President was on, but nothing like tonight, she just went crazy. The last thing I heard her say was "the Iraqi's had nothing to do with 9-11 you ignorant, no account motherfucker."..man, she was just so mad at him.."Other neighbors when questioned said they saw her standing in the door way tossing out furniture and then she threw out the tv..."Then the next thing we saw was her bursting into flames", said Mrs. Shroder as she wiped away a tear..."it was just awful, poor Jackie, who is going to take care of her dogs and cat?" When her son arrived he said he wasn't surprised. that she had gotten a lot worse about the President every since he got reelcedted. said he wasn't President, he was a fucking thief. Visibly shaken her son wept, She always wanted to be cremated, guess she saved us about $1,000. She wanted her ashes to be scattered on a patch of blue bonnets...so we will keep what's left of her in a KFC box until spring and then we will obey her last wish.."On being notified by her family, her blog friends were all saddened to hear of her death.."Well, at least she went out in a blaze of glory, too bad she couldn't have taken Forest with her", said her blogger friend Soonerfan78...At her family's request, in lieu of flowers please make donations to the election of Kinky Friedman for governor of Texas....

1,795TH POST..
For all of you who have in your own way, made my day, week, month and the past 5 years. You are my friends, my family....I love you one and all..Goddess bless you.
The Charlie Schultz Philosophy (The following is the philosophy of Charles Schultz, the creator of the 'Peanuts' comic strip.
You don't have to actually answer the questions.
Just ponder on them. Just read it through and you'll get the point.
1. Name the five wealthiest people in the world.
2. Name the last five Heisman trophy winners.
3. Name the last five winners of the Miss America pageant.
4 Name ten people who have won the Nobel or Pulitzer Prize.
5. Name the last half dozen Academy Award winners for best actor and actress.
6. Name the last decade's worth of World Series winners.
The point is, none of us remember the headliners of yesterday. These are no second-rate achievers. They are the best in their fields. But the applause dies. Awards tarnish. Achievements are forgotten. Accolades and certificates are buried with their owners.
Here's another quiz. See how you do on this one:
1. List a few teachers who aided your journey through school.
2. Name three friends who have helped you through a difficult time.
3. Name five people who have taught you something worthwhile.
4. Think of a few people who have made you feel appreciated and special!!
5. Think of five people you enjoy spending time with.
Easier? The lesson:The people who make a difference in your life are not the ones with the most credentials...the most money...or the most awards. They simply are the ones who care the most. 'Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia!'

UNDER THE DOME

By Stephen King, is my new reading material ...It has 1072 pages, and a cast of 69 counting the dogs. I'm on page 100 and so far it's really good. But I'm already confused by who the people are. About the time I figure out who they are they get kilt. But so far this may be on of the better Stephen King books..Lately some of his stuff was just crap. Gerald's Game, The Girl who Loved somebody are examples of books that should never have been written. I weep for the trees who gave up their lives for those books.. I am also reading the Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. It's really good. When I first tried to read it I got about 8 pages and decided I didn't give a fuck. Took it back to the library and said not interested. Nancy said it was one of her favorite books of the year. So I waited a few months and tried it again, and must have not just been in the right frame of mind when I tried it the first time, because this time it hooked me right off. So when I get confused with King's cast of thousands, I switch over to the other book. I also just finished reading Paul Shaffer's book "We'll Be Here For the Rest of Our Lives." It was fantastic. He really has a lot of great stories to tell, and as I'm a big fan of the Letterman Show and of Paul and his band I loved reading his stories. about people that appeared on the show, and from when he was in Canada, on SNL, in Hollywood, and his love for New York. He isn't afraid to tell about his fuck ups as well as his triumphs.. I like his meeting with Bob Dylan a lot. I'm still waiting for Patrick Rothfuss to write the second book to The Name Of The Wind and I left so many smart ass remarks on his Face Book that he told me I was rude. I thought to myself..'no, what's rude is telling people your new book will be out in the spring of 2009 and it's
November and it's still not out. Plus no sign of it coming at all. He's so busy running all over the place being big shot author that he's not writing. Maybe he has writers block..if so..tell me, I'd be more inclined not to be 'rude'...But at least I have something to look forward to, Nelson De Mille has a book out in June of 2010. The sequel to Lion's Gate. I can't wait..I fecking love his books..Just sent him an email today too and said that I had taken a long time to figure out just the right way to tell him how I felt about his books..."I fucking love them.".. I'm sure he'll be impressed.

I'm sure he'll be impressed. Babs and I had a nice(birthday) dinner at the new (old) Restaurant called Nors Sausage and Burger's.
It's in the old place where the West Station Grill and Spittoon Bar was. No waitress's..you get your menu and then order it..The upstairs is where they have the 'bar' and they have karaoke on Thursday night.. We were glad that we ate early and got out of there before I had to listen to a karaoke version of Smoke on the Water or some Czech folk song. Babs had sage sausage burger with American cheese on regular bun with fries and I had garlic sausage burger with jalapeno jack cheese on jalapeno bread..It was so good..The french fries are pretty good. First I've had in months..as it's one of those things I just don't eat any more, unless it's a ' I don't care if I do die, I'm having the fries,' days and oh my Goddess, the jalapeno bread was excellent. So between the bread and the fries and the Dublin Dr Pepper for lunch I was way over my carb limit for about a week. But fuckit..I only have a birthday once a year..thank the Goddess. Babs got me my elephant that I wanted. It was at Family Dollar and every time I'd see it I'd say.."oh, I want the 'elfphnut' which is how Maryjo used to say elephant and I still do. Got a Santa for my collection and a can of Danish treats(which I ate every fucking one of , carbs be dammed.) I love the birthday bag, it lights up and plays happy birthday. It freaks the animals out..Dexter who isn't afraid of anything arched his back up and ran under the bed. Chewy just cowered and barked at it. Works better than the spray bottle.
Well have to run..Jessica O. is coming over and bringing baby Kenna for a visit. Hope you all have a great weekend. I just reread this post. Some boring shit.

GODDESS BLESS YOU ONE AND ALL

Michael Grant Cahill
a 62-year-old physician assistant, suffered a heart attack two weeks ago and returned to work at the base as a civilian employee after taking just one week off for recovery, said his daughter Keely Vanacker."He survived that. He was getting back on track, and he gets killed by a gunman," Vanacker said, her words bare with shock and disbelief.Cahill, from the Milam County town of Cameron, helped treat soldiers returning from tours of duty or preparing for deployment. Often, Vanacker said, Cahill would walk young soldiers where they needed to go, just to make sure they got the right treatment."He loved his patients, and his patients loved him," said Vanacker, 33, the oldest of Cahill's three adult children. "He just felt his job was important."Cahill, who was born in Spokane, Wash., had worked as a civilian contractor at Fort Hood for about four years, after jobs in rural health clinics and at Veterans Affairs hospitals. He and his wife, Joleen, had been married 37 years.Vanacker described her father as a gregarious man and a voracious reader who could talk for hours about any subject. The family's typical Thanksgiving dinners ended with board games and long conversations over the table, said Vanacker, whose voice often cracked with emotion as she remembered her father. "Now, who I am going to talk to?"------
Maj. Libardo CaraveoCaraveo, 52,
of Woodbridge, Va., arrived in the United States in his teens from Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, knowing very little English said his son, also named Eduardo Caraveo. He earned his doctorate in psychology from the University of Arizona and worked with bilingual special-needs students at Tucson-area schools before entering private practice. His son told the Arizona Daily Star in Tucson that Caraveo had arrived at Fort Hood on Wednesday and was preparing to deploy to Afghanistan. Eduardo Caraveo spoke to the newspaper from his mother's Tucson home. His father's Web site says he offered marriage seminars with a company based in Woodbridge, Va
Staff Sgt. Justin M. DeCrowDeCrow, 32,
was helping train soldiers on how to help new veterans with paperwork and had felt safe on the Army post."He was on a base," his wife, Marikay DeCrow, said in a telephone interview from the couple's home in Evans, Ga. "They should be safe there. They should be safe."In a statement Saturday, she said her husband's "infectious charm and wit always put others at ease."His wife said she wanted everyone to know what a loving man he was. The couple have a 13-year-old daughter, Kylah."He was well loved by everyone," she said through sobs. "He was a loving father and husband and he will be missed by all."The couple were high school sweethearts who married in 1996. Marikay DeCrow said her husband was first stationed at Fort Gordon in 2000, and she had hoped they would reunite at their home in nearby Evans when another post there opened up.DeCrow was stationed in Korea from September 2008 to August. He left in September to go to Fort Hood. His father, Daniel DeCrow, of Fulton, Ind., said he talked to his son last week to ask him how things were going at Fort Hood."As usual, the last words out of my mouth to him were that I was proud of him," he said. "That's what I said to him every time -- that I loved him and I was proud of what he was doing. I can carry that around in my heart.
Capt. John GaffaneyGaffaney, 56,
was a psychiatric nurse who worked for San Diego County, Calif., for more than 20 years and had arrived at Fort Hood the day before the shooting to prepare for a deployment to Iraq.Gaffaney, who was born in Williston, N.D., had served in the Navy and later the California National Guard as a younger man, his family said. After the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, he tried to sign up again for military service. Although the Army Reserves at first declined, he got the call about two years ago asking him to rejoin, said his close friend and co-worker Stephanie Powell."He wanted to help the boys in Iraq and Afghanistan deal with the trauma of what they were seeing," Powell said. "He was an honorable man. He just wanted to serve in any way he can."His family described him as an avid baseball card collector and fan of the San Diego Padres who liked to read military novels and ride his Harley-Davidson motorcycle.Gaffaney supervised a team of six social workers, including Powell, at the county's Adult Protective Services department. Ellen Schmeding, assistant deputy director for the county's Health and Human Services Agency, said Gaffaney was a strong leader. He is survived by a wife and a son.------
Spc. Frederick GreeneGreene, 29,
of Mountain City, Tenn., went by "Freddie" and was active at Baker's Gap Baptist Church while he was growing up, said Glenn Arney, the church's former superintendent and a former co-worker of Greene's."I went to church with him, knew him all of his life. He was one of the finest boys you ever saw," Arney said.Arney worked with Greene for several years at A.C. Lumber and Truss in Mountain City. The company designs and builds trusses, which are structures that support the roofs and floors of houses and other buildings."He was a hard worker. He was a computer whiz. He could design a truss. He could do about anything," Arney said.------
Spc. Jason Dean HuntHunt, 22,
of Frederick, Okla., went into the military after graduating from Tipton High School in 2005 and had got married just two months ago, his mother, Gale Hunt, said. He had served 3 1/2 years in the Army, including a stint in Iraq.Gale Hunt said two uniformed soldiers came to her door late Thursday night to notify her of her son's death.Hunt, known as J.D., was "just kind of a quiet boy and a good kid, very kind," said Kathy Gray, an administrative assistant at Tipton Schools. His mother said he was family oriented."He didn't go in for hunting or sports," Gale Hunt said. "He was a very quiet boy who enjoyed video games."He had re-enlisted for six years after serving his initial two-year assignment, she said. ZANYETTA IS THE WINNER AND HERE'S YOUR MONDAY STUMBLES
If you didn't see the Breeders Cup race Saturday, you missed the best horse race ever. Zenyatta was 13-0 when she came into the race. Was the only filly in the race..and she's no dainty little flower either, she's a big ole gal. But she prances and dances before and after the race..during the race? She just kicks male horse ass. She came out of the gate on the wrong foot, was dead last for almost half of the race..and then she heard the crowd, and after a quick look for just that perfect head shot for the cameras, she took off and passed everyone of them ole boys.. She prances and tossed her head and posed for all the photographers..It was a race and a half..with out a doubt the best horse race ever. She better be horse of the year and also Athletic of the Year on Sports Illustrated.. If you don't know what the fuck I'm talking about..google her and watch the race..
